[K-Gayo 3] Dance Mix 2023 Performance (2NE1, NCT DREAM, KAI, B.I, EVERGLOW, BTS) - KPOP IN SCHOOL

K-Motion, Female Gayo, and DB3 are once again back as K-Gayo 3! This was our "Run K-Gayo 3" performance at Dance Mix 2023: Revolution (the largest student-run dance show at the University of Michigan). The show was COMPLETELY sold out that night, with over 1,200 people watching. If you missed the in-person experience, here's finally your chance to see our hard work. K-Gayo 3 is the annual collaboration at Dance Mix of three different K-Pop dance teams at the University of Michigan: ‪@KMotion‬, ‪@FemaleGayo‬, and ‪@Daebak3‬. We strive to showcase our passion and spread Korean culture awareness on campus with our diversity and energy. Overall, we are an enthusiastic group of friends that love to perform K-pop and hip-hop dances around campus for cultural shows and performances!

𝙒𝙃𝙊 𝘼𝙍𝙀 𝙒𝙀?

K-motion is first and foremost a group of girls who are passionate about dancing and love to have fun. We are the university-recognized all female Korean Pop dance cover group founded in 2013 that blends Western urban dance and Korean Pop/Hip Hop dance styles into our performances. In addition to performances, we aim to promote every members’ growth in dance and leadership while creating long-lasting relationships between our dancers and the greater UM A/PIA community.

[𝗙𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝘆𝗼]
Female Gayo is the official K-Pop dance team under the Korean-American Student Association (KASA) at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor that performs at events hosted by AAPI organizations and other dance groups on campus. We do not limit ourselves to just K-Pop; we also branch out into Western hip-hop styles that were created by Asian choreographers and/or have touched base with Korean artists. Regardless of our diverse backgrounds, we strive to showcase Korean culture through our common passion for dance. This ultimately deepens our friendship, bonds our team together, and creates a stronger connection to the greater U of M dance community. Our vision is to share the culture that we love while growing as a performance team and as individuals.

We are DB3, otherwise known as Daebak 3, the official all-male K-Pop/Hip-Hop dance crew at the University of Michigan. Our mission is to spread awareness about Korean culture through the art of dance and to create a close-knit community for our members. We aim to embrace both new and old K-pop music through our performances and strike a chord with a wide audience. Our goal for all performances is to present the audience with a kaleidoscope of personalities and characters through dance in which they can enjoy.
