Manali to Chandigarh road trip vlog – Final Day.

In this video, we conclude our Kullu–Manali road trip series with a night journey from Manali to Chandigarh. After dropping our friend Diksha at her home, we started our return journey in the evening around 6 PM and headed towards Mandi via Kullu.

While driving at night, we witnessed mesmerizing views near Pandoh and crossed Pandoh Dam, where we discussed how the area looked before the water level increased and also talked about a tragic incident from the past when the dam gates were opened. These moments made the night drive more serious and reflective.

One of the biggest reliefs during this journey was not having to pass through Mandi city, as the new tunnel has significantly reduced travel time and traffic congestion. On the way, we stopped at a familiar dhaba in Sundernagar for dinner, a place we often visit during highway journeys, making it a nostalgic stop.

During the drive, we witnessed a shocking moment when a truck overtook vehicles at nearly 100 km/h, leaving us surprised to see such speed on a mountain highway. Later, after entering Punjab, we noticed a major difference in road conditions and discussed how better infrastructure can make long journeys safer and smoother.

We finally reached Chandigarh around 11 PM and ended the vlog by sharing a small but important message about responsible travel. Instead of throwing waste on the road, we carried our garbage in a bag and disposed of it properly, encouraging everyone to keep the mountains and highways clean.
