In pursuit of its mission of contributing to global peace and prosperity, GLOCEPS unveils The Symbiotic Twine. This is a documentary themed on the need for good neighbourliness and mutual coexistence between Kenya and Somalia. It recognises that both countries are interwoven historically, culturally, spiritually and economically for eternity. Even though relations have soured over the past, there is need to recognise that the shared historical and economic ties, the collective geopolitical challenges, as well being conjoined in dealing with the common enemy of violent extremism are the key pillars to building a better future. This documentary is in four parts. Episode I focuses on the Historical Ties while Episode II explores the Cold War Games . In Episode III, the emphasis is on the Rise of the Al Shabaab Insurgency and Episode IV concludes with a call for recognition that both countries have a COMMON DESTINY.
