Zangl was an Austrian composer, teacher and organist of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was born in Bruneck and underwent training as teacher in Innsbruck, Tyrolia. He then apparently held several positions in smaller communities, including Taisten, Helfenberg, Pinsdorf and Vorchdorf, where he died at the young age of 47. This piece is the last in an edition of 12 Pastoral-Praeludien (pastoral preludes) opus 76, in E flat major. It was marked Andante. Instrument: Johannus Live III, sample: Sauer - Leipzig.
