New perspectives in the management of age-related diseases
This session is hosted by Grifols.
It will provide the audience with an update on age-related neurodegenerative diseases, from epidemiology and socio-economic burden to the latest advances in research and management. Attendees will hear from top experts discussing new promising research lines to better understand the etiology, the dominant role of aging as a risk factor, and finally, the new horizon in management for these diseases. With a special focus on Alzheimer´s Disease, the innovative therapeutic approach of AMBAR therapy (plasma exchange with albumin replacement), with its first implementation on a Real Word scenario according to the healthcare system capabilities, will be presented.
