TRETINOIN - Why I Have Stopped Using Retin-A 😔 ( Disappointed )

Sharing with you why I stopped using Tretinoin in my skincare routine and the final chapter in my Retin-A journey.

Hey guys and welcome back to Mad About Skin where in todays video we are talking about Tretinoin for the final time on the channel. I have been on a journey with tret in the past 9 months and have taken you along with it but this comes to an end now and I wanted to share with you the reasons why I am giving up tretinoin and why it might not be the right retinol for you.

Tretinoin is a high strength prescription only retinoid which has some amazing anti-ageing benefits for the skin. It has however some big side effects which you have to work your way through before you get to the tretinoin benefits at the other side.

After using OTC retinols for years and then moving on to adapolene, I finally decided to give tretinoin a go and took you along with me on the journey here on Mad About Skin.

After 9 months of sharing with you my tretinoin before and after stories, I have decided to move on from the ingredient as it was not doing what I needed it to in terms of my adult acne. I did however get some good anti ageing benefits which is why I want to share all with you in todays video so you know what to expect for your own skin care routine.
