Hi, I’m Ian and I live in Surrey in the UK.
This is the fourth in a series of videos I’m doing over spring, shooting the Pillars of Creation within the Eagle Nebula, M16.
In the first video I showed my set up and how I used Deep Sky Stacker to stack the images and at the end of the video showed the final stacked image with just 7 sub-frames and in the second video I showed how to stack multiple nights in Deep Sky Stacker. In the third video I showed how to use SubframeSelector and Blink in PixInsight to select only the best frames for stacking.
In this fourth video I briefly show how to use NoiseXtermintor and how to create more interesting colours to enhance the image.
In the next, and final video in this series, I will show my final image from all the best frames I have taken and talk through my full process.
