760 NEWS TV - On Scene Vehicle Pursuit in Coachella Ca,

Just after 1 am, Riverside County Sheriff attempted to pull over a white
Ford Expedition in the City of Coachella / Thermal near Airport Blvd. The driver of the vehicle failed to yield and a short vehicle pursuit began.

California Highway Patrol from Indio Station assisted the Riverside County Sheriffs in the pursuit. The vehicle shortly after hit a spike strip. The vehicle slowed down as it continued the pursuit.

The vehicle made a final stop at the intersection of Avenue 51st and Van Buren street. Law Enforcement officials conducted a felony stop and took the driver and an occupant safely into custody. No word of charges for the driver or the occupant at this time. The White Ford Expedition was taken into custody by the Sheriff's office. The Incident is still under investigation.
