Battlefield 4 Attack Chopper Gunner - TV Missile

Sometimes you think you have an idea of how DICE develops Battlefield games on the Frostbite engine and then stuff like this where the TV-missile destroying or hitting the chopper it was fired from manages to get back into games produced after it was "fixed" previously in another game.

The DICE devs have said before that code was copy and pasted from BF3 to BF4 but how something like this makes it back in is just odd. Because of things like this I've wondered if the Frostbite engine being developed by a separate team has caused issues where certain fixes to the engine itself for each game don't get passed back to the Frostbite engine source code so when they start the next game with a new version of the engine that fix doesn't exist anymore. Don't know it's all very odd.

At this point with all the issues they had with TV-missiles in BF3 and the issues plaguing the current TV-missile in BF4 I'd suggest that DICE just stop trying to implement them in Battlefield games running on the Frostbite engine. They have never really had a "good version" of the TV-missile on any version of Frostbite so they might as well spend the resources in development elsewhere if it is so difficult to implement them in the Frostbite engine.

*The last fix they did for the TV-missile in BF3 was to make it so it would pass through or essentially ignore any vehicle that was 20-30 feet in front of it where it was first fired from.
