Can We Really Live Off Grid? BBQ & Battery Test in Scotland

With a break in the weather, we decided to fire up the barbecue and enjoy one last proper meal at this stunning Scottish Highlands campsite.
In this video, we spend time with friends, try out some Polish sausage, burgers, and chicken on the BBQ, and show what real campsite life looks like when you’re living without electric hook-up. It’s our first proper BBQ using the setup, and a good chance to see how everything works off-grid.
I also give a quick update on our battery usage after several days — including cooking, running the diesel heater, charging phones and cameras — to show how realistic off-grid camping really is.
Nothing fancy, just good food, good company, and a beautiful place to stay in Scotland.
