English Translation

sometimes you know it is important to be alone for a while
disconnect with the world in this race here
start talking again, talk to yourself
stop and listen to your soul

we always go on you know life doesn't stop
we have seen places, spoken a thousand languages
shared experiences crossed lives
forgotten stories, stories left over

but sometimes you know I want to look back
of wanting to remember, of wanting to walk again
the steps that history has brought us up to here
through suffering through happiness

this is life,
a wrong life, an imperfect life,
a bastard life that sometimes betrays
but which then gives you joy again
love and happiness again
life, it is always life

blurred photographs locked in a drawer
parcels of letters let fly in the wind
old addresses lost, old addresses thrown away
song words you wrote
that you do not remember and you have never sung

sometimes you know it's important to start dreaming again
to be able to stop for a while, to be able to cry
in front of a window in the middle of the storm
and wait for the sun that sooner or later will find us

and finally I want not to look back
gain strength from the memory and start walking again
the steps that history has brought us up to here
the path that still awaits us here in front of us
as long as there is life
