02- Blocking a Trim using Photoshop and Maya Explained

Hey guys my name is Claudius Dsouza and I'm here to share my knowledge about trims with you guys.
This video will go through the blocking phase where based on the concept art/3D reference and a lot of planning I make a rough texture plan in Photoshop along with the blocking of the asset in Maya to get the proportions, size and ratio right.
From the 3D asset I roughly gauge the trim sheet I will make and block out the base of the trim sheet on a 10 x 10 cm plane in Maya and go on from there.
