Filmed over two weeks, watch as this rear lift rubbish truck crushes bulky items from a 660 litre rubbish bin.
What appear to be big items outside of the truck seem to be dwarfed once they land in the hopper; the size of the truck hopper is really misleading until it is seen up close.
Sadly the video doesn't capture much of the bulky items being compacted due to being covered by other rubbish and the camera angle not being the best while trying to hold the camera high enough and not being too sure what it was actually filming.
Week one was a bit of a rush as the truck arrived much earlier than usual due to a driver change; a seasoned driver for this route. I was ready the following week and included a second view point with an action camera which has been stitched into the video - hope people like the two different camera angles and hopefully it brings something a little different to the video.
A big thank you to the driver for putting up with me over the past two weeks. It's great to have a familiar face back on this route, even if it is just a temporary return.
