Současná tvorba Kláry Vystrčilové (*1990 Uherské Hradiště) v sobě snoubí kromě jiného tradici ručního vyšívání a potřebu náboženské víry. Techniku vyšívání Klára začala používat na plátna místo tahu štětce, za což se dostala do finále Ceny kritiky za mladou malbu v roce 2013. V posledním roce vyměnila plátno za kožené vesty, které zdobí bohatými barevnými výšivkami s realistickými a náboženskými motivy. Dávno platí, že móda není jen otázkou funkčnosti, ale jde v ruku v ruce s různými druhy umění, i když u nás je toto propojení stále upozaďováno. Klára tedy představí své vesty a videoklip k nim v rámci výstavního projektu Start up IV. Klára Vystrčilová (*1990 Uherské Hradiště) je studentkou pátého ročníku ateliéru malby pod vedením Vladimíra Skrepla pražské AVU.

The current output of Klára Vystrčilová (b. 1990 in Uherské Hradiště) combines, among other aspects, the folk tradition of embroidery and the human need of religious faith. Klára came to apply the technique of embroidery to canvas as a replacement for brushes, an approach which catapulted her to the final of the Critics Young Painting Award competition in 2013. Over the last year she has gone further, switching from canvas to leather jackets which she decorates with abundant colour embroideries featuring realistic and religious motifs. It has long been taken for granted that fashion design is not merely about functionality, but goes hand in hand with various art forms, notwithstanding the continued neglect of this standpoint in this country. Here then Klára is showing her jackets, plus a related video clip, as part of the ongoing project Start up IV.

Klára Vystrčilová is a fifth-year student of the Department of Painting headed by Vladimír Skrepl, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.
