The question that has arisen today is whether it is possible now to file Criminal cases against those who set buses on fire, destroyed transformers, and committed murders in the past.
The President says that no crime will be allowed to be buried under the sands of time.
However, according to the law of our country, you cannot file criminal charges whenever you feel like doing so or after any length of time you choose.
Generally, a criminal case must be filed within twenty years of the commission of the offence. After twenty years have passed, cases can only be filed for offences related to murder and treason.
