Bosnia - Bihac Battles Intensify

As the eastern Bosnian UN-designated "safe areas" remain under
threat by the Bosnian Serbs, fighting intensified in the northwest
muslim enclave of Bihac on Wednesday (19/7). Fighting was reported
in the region of Otoka, some (15 miles) 25 km southeast of Bihac
where rebel troops of Muslim successionist leader, Fikret Abdic,
together with the Bosnian Serb army, are fighting Muslim Bosnian
government troops. Sporadic artillery fire was exchanged, as well
as small arms fire.
