At first, we weren’t sure if we could camp on top since it’s such a popular spot. So, we started hiking uphill looking for a place to pitch our tent. From afar, the ground looked flat, but once we reached, it was full of dips and rocks underneath. Still, as the sun went down and the place became quiet, we decided to trust the moment and camp there. And honestly, it turned out perfect.
The weather added a moody vibe, the wind was strong, and the silence was unreal. It was also our first time using the Durston X-Mid 2P, and it handled the night beautifully. Even without stars or sunset, the whole experience felt peaceful and magical in its own way.
