This video explains why we need design tools like the Routh-Hurwitz Criterion, Bode Plots, Nyquist Plots, and Root Locus. This is an introduction into the difficulties of determining the stability of closed loop systems and why we can't use the same techniques that we use for determining the stability of open loop systems.
