King Saha, born Ssemanda Manisul on September 2, 1989, in Entebbe, Uganda, is a renowned musician known for his contributions to Afrobeat, Zouk, R&B, and Reggae. His musical journey began in church choirs and school performances before studying business administration at Buganda Royal Institute. In 2011, he adopted the stage name "King Saha" and released his debut single, Signal, marking the start of his professional career.
He rose to fame in 2014 with the hit Mulirwana, leading to a successful concert at Freedom City in Kampala. Prior to this, he collaborated with producer Didi on tracks like Ritah and Swagger featuring Gravity Omutujju. After gaining exposure with Jose Chameleone’s Leone Island Music Empire, he launched his own label, Kings Love Entertainment.
King Saha has released popular songs such as Biri Biri, Very Well, Hullo Hullo, On My Way, and Nkwagala, collaborating with artists like Winnie Nwagi, Weasel, Spice Diana, Navio, Mikie Wine, and DJ Stuart. In 2019, he appeared on Coke Studio Africa alongside Weasel and Ethiopian artist Yared Negu. Beyond music, he’s ventured into entrepreneurship with "King's Spot" (a restaurant and bar in Entebbe), farming, and real estate. He is married to Racheal Kente.
Winnie Wa Mummy is a fast-rising Ugandan content creator, dancer, and singer who first gained popularity through TikTok, where she amassed over 1.1 million followers before her account was banned in May 2024. Known for her energetic dance challenges, she attracted international attention after her version of the #ShakeItToTheMaxRemix challenge impressed fans more than the original by Jamaican artist Shenseea.
Transitioning into music, she collaborated with Ugandan dancehall star Mudra D’ Viral on the song Wuhu. Her performance also caught the eye of American pop star Jason Derulo, who shared her dance video to his song Make Me Happy, further boosting her fame.
In 2024, she faced a brief controversy when detained by police for filming content without permission at Green Hill Academy. She later expressed regret over the incident, particularly because her sibling witnessed it. Rumors about a romantic relationship with Mudra have circulated, but both have denied them, clarifying their collaboration is purely professional.
She is active on social media and music platforms, releasing singles like Sumulula and Mbaga, and continues to build her brand as a multi-talented performer in Uganda's entertainment scene.
Together, King Saha and Winnie Wa Mummy represent two influential forces in Ugandan music and content creation—one a seasoned artist with a rich musical catalog, and the other a modern digital star turning social media fame into a promising music career.
