関東軍軍歌, Anthem of the Kwantung Army. Not much to say about this one. If you don't know what the Kwantung Army is, there's a decently good wikipedia article about it.

I've been somewhat interested in Japanese culture, but as a Chinese it is only understandable that I don't have much feelings for the Japanese military. However them Japanese had some really nice songs, I have to give them that. Anthem of the Kwantung Army, Mainland March, Warship March, Anthem of the Taiwan Army...those are all touching pieces of art. Sadly, in comparison, Chinese WWII songs (such as the Song of National Salvation and the Sword March) were all...well, what can I say. I'd say all this is because Japan was more Westernized during that time and had absorbed Western culture very well compared to China. Military marches, after all, is a very Western thing.

And yes, the translation works really fucked me up pretty bad since the original lyrics was written in bloody Classical Japanese. So cut me some slack if the English version seems slightly weird or something.
