Connecting to Nature with Plein Air Painting

Last week we looked at plein air materials and supplies. I was inspired. So Anne and I went out painting the next day. A glorious sunny day, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Exhilarating! At the end of this video I do a demonstration of how to glue your canvases to panels.

It reminds me of a line from the late poet Mary Oliver:
"But nothing you ever understand will be sweeter, or more binding,
than this deepest affinity between your eyes and the world." (from Terns)
