自學孩子是怎樣的? 他們怎樣學, 對自己的生活及學習又有何感受?

感謝其中一位自學孩子Abbie義務協助剪輯, 讓我們可重溫這次由八位10-21歲的自學孩子分享, 這次分享在2020年5月, 香港在疫情影響全港停課期間, 自學孩子分別身處香港、馬來西亞、日本、瑞士。

Nias:
10-year-old Boy loves ungulates,
To research, to draw, to discover, to save.
Cantonese is my pride,
Nepalese makes me shine,
Swiss-German, tongue of my mum,
English sounds pretty awesome.
Dream 2 Africa project brought me to Tanzania,
I want to experience Animals,
culture and music in South-America.
Culture and history,
I long to explore many countries,
Hip Hop rapping, the Beat of my life.

11 years old Joe has always been a homeschooler, he is also an unschooler and he has traveled to many countries in the name of worldschooling. Joe has an immense love for the ocean and to protect the ocean is something he always carries on his mind. SELF LEARNING is totally his strength, he is a strong believer that optimal learning could best be achieved through 2 methods: BOOKS & TALKING TO PEOPLE.

13 year old Abbie homeschooled most of her life until when she was 12, she entered an international school doing Grade 6.

自己到台灣一個月新奇有趣的經歷。

Hillary, 15, and Alexis, 12 have been homeschooling since 2017. They have taken different online courses and are currently learning in a more personalized and innovative programme developed by an education centre in Hong Kong.

Molly Nancy 兩姐妹: 21歲的Molly在英國公開大學讀心理學, 還有最後一科就畢業, 但她選擇gap 一年, 全力訓練, 希望可取得奧運帆船參賽資格。19歲的Nancy去年十月暫時放下帆船訓練, 選擇到日本讀日文, 現在停課期間, 仍在日本繼續自學及在居酒屋的兼職工作。
