🍀 Welcome FAMLEE Friends,
Come join us as we prepare the big and obnoxious rig (Odin) for the road. We have not had him out in 2 full seasons. He has been put away and we were worried he may need some real TLC. However, he is a tank and has treated us well. We have not been overly good to him though. We neglected the oxidation that formed as the sun beat down on the one side giving him a unwanted sunburn.
Frank tried to correct it with a few hours of scrubbing and polishing and finally surrendered to the process.

I too found myself surrendering - my 2023 garden has been less than impressive. I was hopeful for a large tomato harvest, to put up some tomato sauces, marinara and salsa. Sadly I lost the entire harvest to a fungal disease called Blight...likely due to overly damp weather. I am no sure if the woodchips that I loved in year one because the allowed me to not have water as much caused this. Perhaps the soil could not dry out and was left too wet too long. I am not sure, I am still growing as a gardener and this year knocked me down...but I will be back for a fall garden.

Yes, we spell family a little differently. This is our very OWN acronym.

We discovered this when Ethan was about 8 years old.

Eli was a beautiful final addition to completed our FAMLEE.

We are Frank & Amber and we have 4 boys Mitch, Luke(+Ashley), Ethan and Eli.

We traded in the big estate suburb life for a little "PEACE" in the country.

I mean little, we went from a large 5000+sq ft home to a 1500 sq ft small cottage style home.

We now choose to live on purpose with much less…BUT find we have discovered we have soooo much more!!!

Each one of us has a passion for life and adventure. We do our best to spreading light and love wherever we go.

We want to share the big changes and the exciting life we have created on our new country property.
