Montreal biodome is a worth visit place in Qubec province in Canada. It is a museum of closed ecosystems located at Olympic Park in Montreal,Quebec, Canada. It is truly the replicas of four ecosystems found in the Americas.
the building was originally constructed for the 1976 Olympic Games as a velodrome ie cycling Stadium with 2600 seats. it hosted both track cycling and Judo events. later it was transformed into the biodome in 1992.
*the tropical rainforest in the biodome is a replica of the South American rainforest.
the Laurentian Forest is a replica of the North American wilderness.
the Saint Lawrence Marine ecosystem is Estuary habitat modeled on the Gulf of Saint Lawrence.
the sub-polar region is a habitat that is divided into Arctic and Antarctic.
NB:
I have mistaken the fish seen in the tropical rain forest as Arapaima. Sorry for the mistake.
