When I really look at sales…. When I really look at it… I know for a fact that we’re about to go over is true.

I 100% believe, for the MOST PART… It’s how you see yourself.

Successful people are action oriented. When they hear something new, they do something about it right away.
Try quickly so you can fail and get it over quickly. Try, see if it works, get it over with if it doesn’t, and try something new.

There are only things that can happen when you try….
It'll either work, or it won't.

Successful people are always in motion.
Unsuccessful people are always waiting.


Successful people fail faster than other people, and keep trying things until they get traction.

Same applies with dancing. Every time a customer says no, you learn from that experience. Or at least you should learn from that experience.

Pay attention to things that don’t work, and the things that do…. And ASK MORE PEOPLE.

Success is not an accident. And failure is not an accident.
If you want to be financially independent, it’s not luck, and it’s not an accident.

What’s the ONE THING IN LIFE you have true control over?
It’s Your mind.
You might not actually have control of your mind yet…
You might be letting the negative voice run the show…
but this is something we can learn to really control.

We become what we think about most of the time.
What do you think successful people focus on most of the time?

They focus on what they want.
They focus on how.
They focus on the target.


Successful people are successful because they think and talk about what they want.

Unsuccessful people are unsuccessful because they think and talk about what they don’t want.


Successful people are thinking about what they want, and how to get it, most of the time. They’re not bitching about their problems.

It. starts. in. your. mind.

What you think about, multiplied x the emotion (how you think and feel about your situation)… equals = your results.


There was a study that was done on 350k sales people and they tracked them over a series of years. The experiment was - randomly, the people in the study would get a phone call, and the people doing the study… and they would ask them what they were thinking about right now. And whatever it was, the person would answer.

They tracked that over years, and then compared income. Turns out, the highest paid sales people had a particular thinking pattern that was different from the lowest paid sales person…. And it was a consistent pattern.

There was ONE quality that top sales people have,
More than any other single quality - it’s the highest quality of all, and it actually predicts success In life more than other single thinking quality.


Can you guess what it is?

It’s Optimism. It’s positive thinking.
Who’da thought??
Successful people have really high levels of optimize

They found that optimists have 2 great qualities that make them great in selling.
1. They tried more. They made more calls and tried more people, because they had an unrealistic exception that they would be successful in getting “yeses” from potential customers. They just believed and expected they would be successful. So they tried harder, and they tried more approaches.
2. The second is they persisted more. Because they had an unreal expectation that if they persisted more, they would succeed.


So optimists try more things, ask more people, are persistent in asking for the sale even if they KNOW they’re going to get 6 NO’s before they get a yes… and gradually they begin to build up their customer base, and then they end up significantly more successful than the people… than the other girls... that ask less people, and go home earlier.


Optimists have a different way of thinking about life and the world.
One of the ways this is true, is in how they see the future.

Optimists idealize about the future most of the time.
They think about the positive possibilities of the future. They imagine "what would my future look like if it were fantastic?”

There are 4 areas that optimists idealize.
And these are the 4 things that people globally want.
We all want these things.

We want excellent health.
We want people around us that we truly like.
We want to do meaningful work,
and we want to do it well.



Your level of self esteem, determines your level of optimism.
If you really like yourself, if you feel happy about yourself….
You’ll do your work better.
And the flip side is also true… when you do your work better, you’ll also like yourself more.


Say it with me... I LIKE MYSELF.
SAY IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT.
SAY I LIKE MYSELF.
SAY I LIKE MYSELF..
This one line increased my self esteem to new heights just by saying it over and over when I first heard it …. And it can do it for you too
SAY I LIKE MYSELF
SAY IT!
I LIKE MYSELF
I LIKE MYSELF.
I REALLY LIKE MYSELF.

And you my dear…….. can get to the top 10%.
You can do it. Visualize it. Say it. Believe it. Repeat it.
