Toa Payoh 93 Soon Kueh is a bustling stall selling Soon Kueh, as well as other kueh like Ku Chai Kueh and Rice Kueh.

A first glance at the stall, you can see employees busy kneading kueh skin, wrapping the skins with filling, and steaming the kueh in a large steamer. The processes don’t stop until the end of the day, as customers stream in continuously.

Soon Kueh is an all-time favourite that is enjoyed by people of all ages. A steamed delight, it is eaten with dark, sweet sauce and/or chilli. Under a layer of chewy skin lies a filling of turnip, carrot, black fungus and dried shrimp. Do come down to enjoy this traditional handmade snack!
