They are Admiral DS from Albert Lea Seed, 160 lbs/acre (180 kg/ha), drilled 2" deep. They are going in very late, which will probably reduce the yield at harvest time, due to problems getting the turkey litter spread. This is the reality of farming, we'll hope for the best.
I'm sitting home, waiting for the intermittent rain to stop so I can finish planting the last of the peas. Wet soil sticks to the gauge wheels of the drill, eventually caking up in layers so thick that the seed placement depth is adversely affected. Hopefully it will dry out later today or tomorrow.
