How to Place Two Bars Behind Other Grouped Bars in Chart JS

In this video we will explore how to place two bars behind other grouped bars in chart js. Adding overarching bars is easy if we only have one bar to handle. However, when we deal with two or multiples it changes a lot.


To achieve this with multiple bars we need to understand how we can reposition the bars before they are being drawn. With that we can create separate grouped bars and the overarching bars. For this we need to create a plugin and recalculate the position.
