The ASSIST IBD Study
This channel is an educational resource designed for patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) as part of the ASSIST clinical trial study (A Novel Remote Patient and Medication Monitoring Solution to Improve Adherence and PerSiStence with Inflammatory Bowel DiSease Therapy).
The study is designed to help patients with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis to manage their conditions in multiple ways, including:
- Take and stay adherent to your prescribed IBD medication
- Access trustworthy education on IBD and its treatment
- Stay connected with your IBD care team between appointments
The study is funded by the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, under the leadership of Dr. Raymond Cross from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and in collaboration with investigators at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and Synchronyx.
