In this video, Dr. Raymond Cross – Director of IBD Department at University of Maryland in Baltimore and Principal Investigator – welcomes patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) to the ASSIST study, and its educational resources.
ASSIST is a multi-center, randomized, controlled trial evaluating a Novel Remote Patient and Medication Monitoring Solution (Tappt) to Improve Adherence and PerSiStence with Inflammatory Bowel DiSease Therapy.
The study is funded by the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, under the leadership of Dr. Raymond Cross from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and in collaboration with investigators at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and Synchronyx.
