Jay Deetrix - Home Musician
Spending a bit of spare time during the rat race by attempting to recreate some of my old favourite instrumentals (many from the 80s - being Gen X) and experimenting with short sound bites. There is no fancy music studio or equipment, just an old dum midi keyboard, my computer (with FL Studio), mostly free instruments and my ears to listen + learn. I'm always learning so I'll forever be a student.
Playing music helps you relax, enhances creativity and imagination. This is why its important to get your kids into playing an instrument. You're never too old or young to tinker around with sounds and beats. Computers have made it possible to have a whole orchestra at your fingertips. Music is exercise for the brain and brings the human race together.
All you need to do is find some spare time. Stay tuned, I'll show you what I know, its easier than you can ever believe. Stay tuned and thank you for listening.
To those that subscribe + comment, its much appreciated.
Peace to all. Jay
