Alex J. Moffett-Bateau is a Assistant Professor of Political Science at City University of New York.
Alex’s intellectual work focuses on race, gender and politics, urban politics and political behavior, with broad specialties in American politics and political theory.
Beyond the Academy:
I help folks answer tough questions and discover how they can be of service to their communities and the world.
I think out loud about how to find answers to challenging political problems around equity and identity. I help individuals and groups to build the confidence they need to engage in difficult political conversations, within their families, neighborhoods and broader communities.
