Organo Santuario Consolata - Roberto Bertero
The main purpose of this channel is to share and promote the historical organ of which I’ve been the titular organist for over 26 years.
It is located in Italy, in the Sanctuary of La Consolata in Turin. This 161-year-old instrument, entirely mechanical, presents certain challenges due to the weight of its keyboards — yet it offers a unique sound and character that I strive to bring out in every performance.
I’ve had the privilege of performing concerts all over the world, playing some of the most beautiful and versatile pipe organs — instruments capable of expressing both the grandeur of original organ repertoire and the richness of complex transcriptions.
From time to time, I will also post videos featuring other organs I have the opportunity to play during my concert activity.
