In this video, our summer intern, Dilini Nissanka presents some really amazing robotics concepts in a practical hands on way. Her FTC team made it to the FTC world championship so she has some great ideas to present on Omni-drives. Omni-drives are based on very novel mobile robot architecture that allows robots to move in any direction from a stationary position. Omnidrives can be used in World Robotics League, FTC, WRO etc. This video describes the physics and programming of one variant of Omni-drives called X-Drive.
