Fermented Black Sticky Rice

How to Cook Black Sticky Rice:
2 cups black sticky rice, thoroughly washed
Place sticky rice in a rice cooker and add 4 cups of cold water.
Cook rice according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Once the rice is fully cooked, spread it out on a tray and let it cool completely.
Grind up 3 pieces of dried yeast into a powder, which can be found at Asian grocery stores.
Preparation:
1 cup water
Mix 1 tablespoon of salt until dissolved. This salt water is used to dip hands and form sticky rice into a ball.
Sprinkle the dried yeast evenly over the sticky rice, ensuring that it is well-coated.
Form the sticky rice into balls and store them in a sealed container.
Place the container in a warm location and check it after 3 days. If it is not fermented after 3 days, it may take 4-5 days.
Serve the fermented black sticky rice with young shredded coconut.
