🔴 Black Women in Toxic Jobs | LIVE Discussion - Going From Pet To Threat In The Workplace - International Panel Part 1

This panel focuses on the experiences of Black Women who excel in their jobs and are initially praised for their work (treated like a "pet"). The praise however shifts to hostility (treated like a "threat") when the Black Woman starts receiving more attention than others (particularly those in supervisory roles) for her excellent work.

This International Panel includes Black Women sharing their "pet to threat"* experiences from Barbados, Canada, Ghana, South Africa, U.K., & U.S.

*The term "Pet to Threat" was initially created by Dr. Juanita Johnson-Bailey, Dr. Kecia M. Thomas, and Dr. Rosemary Phelps.
