I visited the studio of Rosalie Osborn Knaack, an American ceramicist in South Korea who blends traditional Korean pottery techniques with imagery from her Texas roots. Her work heavily featured skulls and bones, and showed her interest in anatomy. Rosalie reimagines the classic inlaid celadon, bringing her own culture and experiences into her art. She demonstrated her artistic process, from shaping clay on the wheel to hand-carved designs, showing how creativity and technique merge to create something entirely original.
