SITECH Intermountain Siteworks Recording a Single Point
In this video, we will show you how to record a single point in Siteworks. This is a useful technique for recording the location of features such as trees, buildings, or utility poles.
To record a single point, follow these steps:
1. Open Siteworks and navigate to the point you want to record.
2. Click the "Create Point" button.
3. Enter the point's elevation and description.
4. Click the "Create" button.
The point will be added to the Siteworks map. You can then view and edit the point's properties by clicking on it.
Here are some additional tips for recording single points:
Use the "Snap to Grid" feature to help you place points accurately.
Use the "Offset" feature to create points that are offset from a line or other feature.
Use the "Label" feature to add a label to a point.
