Sugino Capacity Booster

One of the most common requests both shops and mechanics get is for lower gears. Cycling up hill is tough, and having lower gears makes everything a little more pleasant.
Sugino, one of the oldest cycling brands out there, may have gone some way to making this upgrade a little easier.

These jockey wheels have an eccentric design, which increases the chainset capacity of the derailleur, and takes up that slack we saw when using standard Shimano jockey wheels. With a short derailleur like this, the difference is now 18, and with the long, as much as 19. And yes, they’re available on both 11 and 12 speed.
