Bettada Nallikayi Saaru, also known as Amla Rasam, is a traditional Karnataka-style rasam made with fresh gooseberries, roasted spices, and coconut. This recipe is packed with Vitamin C and perfect for boosting immunity during winters and rainy days.
Step-by-Step Process:
1️⃣ Roast black pepper, cumin, coriander seeds & red chillies
2️⃣ Add curry leaves and fry for aroma
3️⃣ Grind roasted spices into powder
4️⃣ Add chopped amla + coconut + water and grind smooth
5️⃣ Temper ghee with mustard seeds & hing
6️⃣ Add the ground paste, water, salt & jaggery
7️⃣ Finish with coriander and boil well
