Jennifer + Jason | Disney Fairytale Wedding

Jennifer, a south Floridian, had dreamed of a Disney Wedding since she was a little girl. When she got engaged, there was no question in her mind, where she would marry Jason, but Walt Disney World.

We met Jennifer at a national video conference in 2009 when she was modeling for Panasonic. At that time Panasonic was using some of our wedding highlights to promote a new camera. So Jennifer had a front row seat to view our films in the Panasonic booth. She asked for our card and quickly replied, “Someday, when I find the one, I am going to have you come and film my wedding.” She even went home and told her friends and family, she was going to bring this couple from Oklahoma to film her wedding someday.(They said she had been talking about us filming her wedding for years, even before she had a boyfriend.)

Well some three years later, within a few days of her proposal, we received an email, saying she had “got the ring”, was getting married and wanted to know of our availability to travel to Orlando to film her dream Disney Wedding. Honestly, I had to think, who is this girl, who “got the ring?” After a phone call, I recalled the conversation and we were booking flights to Orlando.

It was a true fairy tale wedding. There are so many things I could share, but this story was pretty special. Jason & Jennifer exchanged letters before their ceremony at the Grand Floridian. There was a short, older cast member dressed as a butler who had worked there since Jennifer was a little girl. She had always told him, “one day you are going to help me on my wedding day.” He stayed late that day to assist her in to see her Groom.

Capturing this Fairy Tale Disney Wedding was a great experience, one we will never forget. While working at Disney was uber cool, more importantly were the memories we shared as two families united to make a new one.
