🕯A Gorgon is a mythical creature from ancient Greek mythology, most famously known through the legend of Medusa. Gorgons are often depicted as powerful women with snakes for hair and a gaze that can turn people to stone. But not all Gorgons are evil—some stories tell of them being misunderstood, cursed, or even protectors. In this roleplay, you’ll meet a softer, more compassionate version of a Gorgon who dwells in a hidden temple… and maybe isn’t quite what the legends warned you about.🕯

It was a wonder you hadn't gotten lost sooner. You've been blind from birth, and when your parents died you were left to face the darkness of life alone. You spent most of your time in an orphanage, waiting to be adopted. But you were in a small farming village. A blind child would be a burden. So no one came for you.
You aged out. There was nowhere for you to go, so you wandered the streets, begging for food, shivering in alleys to try and survive.
It wasn't sustainable and you knew that. You knew you couldn't survive like that for long. Your only chance was to set out along the path and try to make it to the city. The city had hospitals, shelters, places you could stay. There was no where of you to go in your hometown. Everyone else was struggling too much to help you. But the city?
So you set off. You thought if you were careful you could stay on the road. You were wrong. Very quickly you stumbled off the road and lost it completely. You wandered around in the woods, scared and alone, until your hands hit smooth stone.
A building.
A temple.
