Join the Just2easy education team as they deliver a live lesson focussing on using JIT Chart to make a part invite.
Year Groups: KS1–LKS2
Overview:
Pupils will explore simple data handling by collecting fictional (can be real data if teachers wish to log this prior to the session) winter weather data and turning it into bar or line charts using JIT chart. This lesson builds confidence in reading and presenting seasonal changes.
Lesson Breakdown:
Intro: What weather data can tell us.
Modelling: Input sample data into a table and demonstrate chart creation.
Pupil Task: Pupils enter their own dataset and produce a clear graph.
By the end of the lesson, pupils will know:
-How to enter data into a table.
-How to choose between bar and line charts.
-How to read their completed graph.
Practical Considerations:
-Pupils logged into Just2easy.
-Classes to bring real data (if possible). Fictitious data will be provided in the session
