This is the start of a project we are undertaking for Dr Pieter-Willem Hendriks at Lincoln University who is working with Potatoes New Zealand on a demonstration of integrated pest management (IPM) for tomato potato psyllid (TPP, Bactericera cockerelli) in potatoes under the guidance of Dr Paul Horne of https://ipmtechnologies.com.au/ in Australia. We are using cabbages and buckwheat as IPM plantings to host and attract beneficial insects that will help control TPP on the potatoes.
