This is a donation-based workout class supporting Emerge Mothers Academy (who does amazing things for single moms in the Twin Cities).

With COVID-19 and the recession, the single moms have had to navigate the challenges of lost jobs and wages, school and daycare closures, distance learning, food and housing insecurity, mental health issues, and diminished support networks. Funds raised will equip the single moms of Emerge Mothers Academy (and their kids) to overcome this adversity and thrive.

Now on to the workout!

✨ The Workout: 45-Minute Strength and Cardio Workout At Home ✨

► EQUIPMENT: Medium-to-heavy set of dumbbells.

I suggest 8-20 lb dumbbells. Chris and I both have a set of 12 lbs in this video.

► INSTRUCTIONS: Follow along with the cardio kickboxing + dumbbell strength workout above!

We'll alternate between bodyweight cardio kickboxing intervals and dumbbell strength training exercises! Most of the intervals are 45 seconds of work, followed by 15 seconds of rest.

Chris and I will alternate leading you through this online group fitness class, showing exercise modifications for all fitness levels.
