It's the 5th Match of the Coca Cola Champions Trophy 1999/20 between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first. Shahid Afridi and Saeed Anwar opened the innings for the Green Caps. Saeed Anwar got out early with Wajahatullah Wasti getting to 21 before he was dismissed by Chandana. Afridi played a handy knock at the start with quick fire 58 off just 50 balls. Inzamam and Moin got some runs as well. Razzaq played a match saving knock of 59 at the end with wickets falling on the other side. Pakistan managed to score 239 for the loss of 8 wickets in their 50 overs. Sri Lanka didn't get the start they wanted as they lost their first three wickets early. Aravinda de Silva and Marvan Atapattu got some runs on the board but got out as well. After that, wickets continued to tumble with the lions falling all out on 121 in their 34 overs losing the match by 118 runs.
