It's the 2nd Match of the Singer World Series 1993/94 between Pakistan and Australia. Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first. Mark Taylor and Michael Slater opened the innings for the Kangaroos. They didn't get the start they wanted. Both the openers went to the dugout early. Boon gave Waqar Younis a tough competition before he was dismissed by Akram Raza. Michael Bevan, Ian Healy and Shane Warne contributed to the total helping their team reach 179/7 in their fifty overs. Pakistan didn't get a start they would have wished to lose Aamir Sohail early. Saeed Anwar and Inzamam made the chase look easy before they were dismissed. After that, wickets fell one after another with a little increase in the total making Pakistan suffer as they only managed 151/9 in their 50 overs giving the match to the Aussies. Shane Warne and Steve Waugh changed the circumstances for their team with 3 wickets each.
