It’s natural to want to avoid pain, yet somewhere along the way we’ve learned to see it as something to be eliminated rather than explored. What happens when we don’t allow ourselves to feel pain at all? 🫣
In this video, we explore pain not as something to conquer or endure, but as something to listen to. Emotional, mental, and physical pain carry information. They reveal what matters, where boundaries have been crossed, and what within us is asking for care and attention.
Avoiding pain may offer temporary relief, but it often comes with a cost. When pain isn’t felt, it doesn’t disappear, it finds other ways to resurface.
This conversation isn’t about having a “tough it out” mindset. It’s about noticing when the fear of pain is louder than the pain itself. As well as what becomes possible when we meet discomfort with curiosity instead of resistance. 🦋
