DC-Link Capacitor, Specification and Application

DC Link capacitors are placed between a DC Source (Battery or Rectified DC) and a power stage such as an inverter or motor drive to provide a temporary buffer of energy. Würth Elektronik eiSos presents the new DC-Link Film capacitors to offer solutions for the high energy density future applications in the e-Mobility and renewable technologies. The WCAP-FTDB capacitors provide high robustness and stability over a long load life thanks to the polypropylene metallized film (MKP).
