Happy Monday Singing Folk!
If, like me, your voice is in need of some maintenance, or you're looking for an exercise routine to warm up your voice, give it a good stretch and build strength and agility - you've come to the right place.
Here is a series of exercises that you can do everyday (and I advise that you do) to really start to whip your voice into shape.
This is a great way to start your singing practice, before working on some specific techniques or repertoire.
It's so important to keep our voices fit and healthy, and it can be really easy to let things slide when we're not singing regularly. This is exactly what has happened to my own voice over the last couple of years.
So join me in getting our voices back in shape, or starting your vocal training journey.
As always, be mindful of your breathing - keep it controlled, deep and low, and don't push your voice too hard. If you feel strain or tension in your throat, relax and take it easy.
